Booking
- A $200 deposit holds the date, due no later than 48 hours before the session.
- The balance is due on completion or delivery.
- Cancellation or rescheduling needs 48 hours notice.
- Payment by cash, PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App.
- Studio hours are 11am to 9pm, Monday through Saturday. Closed Sundays.
- Let us know 48 hours ahead about outside equipment, extra guests, or food and drink.
- Sessions are by appointment in Silver Spring. Directions go out once a session is confirmed.

What does the hourly rate cover?
Recording, mixing, mastering, audio restoration, and podcast production, all at $100 an hour.
How many hours will my project take?
Say what you are making in your first message and you will get an honest estimate before you book. A single vocal session over a beat is often two to three hours. A band tracking a song live usually wants half a day. Mixing a song is typically a few hours.
Do I have to pay in advance?

What is your cancellation policy?
Notice of cancellation or rescheduling is required at least 48 hours before the booked session time. Inside 48 hours the deposit covers the held slot.
Are raw multitracks included?
Always, at no charge. They are your recordings. Stems, meaning stereo subgroups of a finished mix rather than raw tracks, can be prepared on request.
What if my project is a full EP or album?
Same rate. Say what you are planning in your first message and you will get an estimate of the total hours before you commit, so a bigger project is not an open-ended bill.

How much does it cost to record a song?
At $100 an hour, a single song tracked and mixed usually lands between four and eight hours depending on how many instruments are involved and how prepared the arrangement is. Send the details and you will get a real estimate before booking.
How much does it cost to record an EP?
A four or five song EP with a full band typically runs two to four days of tracking plus mixing time. You will get an estimate of the total hours before anything is booked.
Do you offer a free consultation?
Yes. Describing the project costs nothing, and restoration work gets a free assessment before it is quoted.
